"The standard of truth has been erected; no unhallowed hand can stop the work from progressing; persecutions may rage, mobs may combine, armies may assemble, calumny may defame, but the truth of God will go forth boldly, nobly, and independent, till it has penetrated every continent, visited every clime, swept every country, and sounded in every ear, till the purposes of God shall be accomplished, and the Great Jehovah shall say the work is done."Joseph Smith Jr.

Whoa, excellent video! Couldn't have said it any better; just because we believe something doesn't mean it's right, it's because we made that CHOICE!

Because we all know that only blacks have ever or could ever be discriminated against or denied civil rights.

@J_Goldens_Shadow -

Marriage is a religious institution, and as such is protected by the first amendment from federal regulation or interference. At least, in theory... somewhere along the way, the gov't got the idea that it could tell us who can & can't marry, and most of us are happy enough to go along with it because our version of marriage is what they've said is okay... at least for now, while we're the majority. I guess we just don't think enough about what is going to happen if we're not the majority someday and we've set a precedent to allow religion to be regulated. What goes in our favor today, could just as easily go against us tomorrow.
